RWS Global is hosting auditions in London on May 21 seeking Entertainment Hosts for various upcoming contracts at sea.

As a member of the Entertainment Team, you will be hosting/leading/participating in events and activities such as quizzes, staged challenges, sports competitions, poolside events, karaoke, demonstrations, sail away and deck parties, and you must make your presence known to the guests as much as possible. Daily PR and social networking around the ship, alongside the
hosting of events must be undertaken in order to maximise the Entertainment Team’s profile.
Responsibilities:
– To deliver and promote the entertainment package to an exceptionally high standard.
– To host and participate in a number of daily events and activities, including quizzes, staged-challenges, sports competitions, poolside events, karaoke, demonstrations, sail away events and deck parties.
– To DJ within various venues, including hosting/leading the late night disco and Silent Discos within the ship’s nightclub.
– To participate in party dance sessions and dance with guests at deck party events, encouraging participation through audience interaction.
– To develop new skills where required.
– Admin duties may be required from time to time, as instructed by the Assistant Cruise Director.
– To create and enhance the guest experience on board.
– To uphold and exceed venue expectations.
– To ensure standards, product and your professional behaviour is at the highest level of the company.
– To make regular revenue promotion announcements when hosting events around the ship (ie; advertising last minute availability on tours/Shop promotions/Cruise Holiday Store etc).
– Assist the hotel operation; with guest mustering and organisation, embarkation duties, gangway assistance and crowd control.
– To ensure your appearance and grooming guidelines are maintained at all times.
– To uphold the standards set out in your training.
– A position of onboard responsibility will be held with regards to emergency procedures, guest mustering and drills (full training received on board).
